This photo is at the reception for our son's wedding. Back in the early 90's, we were science and engineering graduate students at Cal. When the spring semester ended, we said, why should we stop having services on Friday night? This led to our Berkeley Hillel graduate student minyan. We have been friends ever since, celebrating our weddings, births, bnai mitzvah and this year, 3 weddings of our children (our son's was the first).
